Shuttle Valves
Gilmore's patented shuttle valve product line features hydraulic cushioning and spring detented designs. Leak-tight stainless steel construction provides for both very low and very high interflow during shifting. The valves may be subplate mounted with seal subs for building-block logic configuration. Stainless steel and PTFE seal designs accommodate all fluids. Some designs have spring or pressure biasing to ensure a preferred flow path.
Gilmore manufactures both the traditional single square-body and our patented single and stackable Gilmore Mark III shuttle valves for working pressures up to 5,000 psi. The new Gilmore Mark III shuttle valves can be configured in stacks that permit connections from multiple pressure sources or circuits while decreasing tubing/piping connections, eliminating leak paths and saving space.
Piping/tubing connections are readily available in NPT, SAE, MP, and in Code 62 flat face and seal sub with connection sizes ranging from ¼” to 2”. Gilmore can accommodate other connection configurations to your specifications.
The website listings include our most popular models. Please contact a Gilmore sales representative to discuss your particular requirements.

APPLICATION:
A shuttle valve acts as flow logic component that allows the automatic selection of the flow from multiple supply or inlet ports to be directed through a common function or outlet port. During normal operation of the shuttle valve, the higher-pressure source from one inlet port moves the shuttle to close off the lower-pressure source from the other inlet port and, in turn, be directed to the function or outlet port.
