Miscellaneous Valves

MULTIPLE VALVE ASSEMBLY (MVA)

Gilmore Valve Company can custom design, engineer and manufacture complete manifolds including valves in configurations to suit your needs and applications. The following MVAs are examples of completed projects that demonstrate Gilmore’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities to provide custom valve arrangements and sequencing.

Please contact a Gilmore sales representative to discuss your particular requirements.

SOLENOID VALVES

Gilmore offers 24VDC solenoid valves that take advantage of sliding hydro-seals to ensure reliable operation in contaminated fluids and working pressures up to 5,000 psi. Gilmore solenoid valves employ an electromagnetic coil to actuate the opening and closing of a high-pressure, low-flow control valve subassembly. Existing designs include 1/4” and 3/4” threaded ports as well as seal sub interfaces.

DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVES

Gilmore’s directional control valves are the choice as logic elements for supplying system functions in many drilling control systems. Our unique hydro-seal design allows them to handle high-pressure fluids and complex operation requirements without leakage.

Gilmore manufactures directional control valves for working pressures at 5,000 and 10,000 psi in both cartridge- and panel-mounted configurations. These high-pressure, low-flow, two-position, three-way and four-way valves can be configured with a choice of hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical actuators and hydraulic, pneumatic or spring returns. Connections are usually 3/8” NPT, but are also offered in sizes ranging from 1/4” to 1/2”.

APPLICATION: Gilmore directional control valves manipulate the flow of a single source of supply fluid or inlet port to a choice of multiple hydraulic circuits or outlet ports. Remote actuation of the valves is accomplished through application of a hydraulic or pneumatic signal or a mechanical sliding cam.

TRIGGER VALVE

Gilmore Valve Company manufactures valves for subsea equipment separation. The trigger valve has an 8-3/4” stroke at 3,000 psi working pressure and was designed as a critical component for the emergency disconnect of the Blowout Preventer (BOP) platform from the Lower Marine Riser Package (LMRP).

The actuation rod can be provided in lengths for your specific application. Please contact a Gilmore sales representative to discuss your particular requirements.

DIRTY FLUID VALVES

Gilmore Valve Company manufactures a group of two-position, two-way valves originally designed for downhole formation sampling circuits to capture fluid samples that may include liquid, gas and debris. The valves are built to withstand temperatures up to 400° F (205° C) and pressures up to 30,000 psi. These cartridge-mounted valves are available in normally open, normally closed and double-piloted.
